About the Artist
Born in Bowling Green Ohio and after high school went into the Air Force. I spent 27 1/2 years in the Air Force and full time Air National Guard were I worked in avionics on jet fighters repairing computers, radar and laser systems on the jets. I also received my altitude card so I could fly in the fighters. If one would break down somewhere I would fly in the back seat of a two seater and go fix it. After retiring my wife and I moved to Concord, NC were I went to work with a NASCAR team for 20 years and then retired again. I have been a woodworker and woodturner about all my life. I have always had a shop. I have been turning professional for about 12 years. My wife and I have two children, a boy and a girl and I am pleased to say that on May 18th we are going to celebrate our 50th anniversary. I have been an assistant instructor at both John C. Campbell and Arrowmont with Charles Farrow on hollow forms with funky finials.
