In addition to Harvey's demonstration, our very own Jim Waterbury will be hosting a hands-on class to complement the demo on basket illusion decorating!

Jim will be doing a hands-on class on basket illusions ahead of Harvey Meyer's demonstration. Attendees will need the following to complete the project:
- Wood blank approximately 6"x6"x2". Ideally, this should be a hardwood with little or no grain, such as hard maple, ash, cherry, or bradford pear.
- D-Way beading tools - one each 3/16" and 1/8". Cost is $50 each.
- Faber Castell Pitt artist pen, S and B, one each around $2.10 per pen.
- Woodburner and pens. Pens needed are 3/16" and 1/8".
- Sharp blade, scalpel or exacto knife
Some items will be available for the class, but will need to be shared.

Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Atlanta resident Harvey Meyer has been working with wood for most of his life. He started woodturning in 2000 and has been focusing on "basket illusion" embellishment since 2012. Harvey is an active member of the George Association of Woodturners, the Atlanta Woodturners Guild, and the American Association of Woodturners.
